Eclipses are one of the most important events to pay attention to in Astrology! An Eclipse occurs when one heavenly body moves into the shadow of another. We have 2 types of eclipses: lunar & solar. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon stands between the Sun and earth, cutting off the light of the Sun... A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth stands between the moon and the Sun, cutting off the light of the Sun from the moon. Eclipses always come in pairs 2 weeks apart with full moon/ new moon cycle.

An Eclipse Season is the 2 week period between one eclipse date to 2 weeks later, the next eclipse date.

If your birthday is the day of, or within 5 days before or after an Eclipse, you will have an Eclipse Solar Return/ Birthday Year". The whole next birthday year will be under the influence of that eclipse and will be a very powerful and transformative time.
